Light rain falls on parts of Dubai

Scattered showers fell on parts of Dubai overnight and on Monday morning, a day after light rain was reported in Abu Dhabi and other areas.
The rain offers a respite to the dry spell that has settled in the country for months.

The Dubai Meteorological Office said there is a chance of more rain and isolated thunderstorm, although the weather is expected to be warm, cloudy and unsettled for the rest of Monday.
The weather bureau also said that moderately strong wind will lift dust in open spaces, affecting visibility.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach 29 degrees Celcius, and will reach a low of 21 degrees Celcius.
