Police in Al Shoahda’a town of Al Monofya governorate
received a tip from the husband accusing his wife of adultery with his
friend.
The 34-years old
husband, Mammoth G said in his report that his wife cheated him with his
colleague. He surprised them when they were in indecent situation at his
house.
“I was at work when I received a telephone call from one of
the neighbours informing me that my wife used to receive a man in our flat in my
absence.
“I rushed to the house where I found my wife in the arms of
my colleague and it was clear that they were involved in such a relationship for
a long time.
“I am the last one to know. All the people in the locality
knew and said that this person used to visit my house in my absence.
“When I tried to catch them, the colleague ran and jumped
from the balcony and died on the spot.
“I drove my cheating wife to the police station without
clothes to give the evidence that she was seized red-handed,” the husband
said.
Inhabitants of the area confirmed in their testimony that the
deceased used to visit the house of his colleague taking advantage of the
husband’s absence..
On the day of the incident, they observed the deceased
entering the house of the husband when he was away. The neighbours then closed
the main door of the house with a chain
to prevent the couple from getting out.
One of them then phoned the husband who came immediately and
rushed to the bedroom where he found his wife in an indecent position with his
colleague.
Neighbours added that the deceased jumped from the balcony to
his death and the wife admitted to an illicit relationship with the
deceased.
The police referred the wife to public prosecution where she
has been in custody pending the investigations. The body of the deceased has
been delivered to his family.
