Dangerous sex enhancement product illegally sold: UAE warns

A Chinese-made sex enhancement herbal product that could seriously lower blood pressure and cause other health problems has found its way into the UAE, promoting the Ministry of Health to issue an alert.In an urgent circular sent to pharmacies and other competent parties, the Ministry called for the instant withdrawal of Stree Overlord from the local market as it has not granted permission to the product to be sold in the country.

“Stree Overlord is a fraud product which could pose a serious threat to persons suffering from heart problems and diabetes,” said the circular, a copy of which was published in the Dubai-based Arabic language daily Emirat Alyoum.

The paper quoted Dr Amin Al Amiri, the Ministry’s assistant undersecretary for medical practice and licensing, as saying the warning followed an alert by health authorities in Canada, the United States and other countries against the use of that product.
