Man killed wife for not cooking

A man who killed his wife for not cooking him meals was jailed for life. An Indian court recently overturned the previous decision and reduced his life sentence to ten years in jail.




The court said that the man's crime was not premeditated, reports NDTV.



The incident had occurred in March 2006 for a petty reason. The court explained that the man never intended to kill his wife but just wanted to injure her and most importantly the attack was not pre-planned.



The man has now been charged for culpable homicide.
