Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai has posted on Instagram a video of an eagle soaring over Dubai and capturing remarkable views of the city.
The short video, showing a camera-equipped eagle being released from a cage and flying over Burj Al Arab, has gone viral. As of press time, the video released only four days ago has attracted more than 80,000 views.
Hamdan wrote on his Instagram post: “Through an eagle eye from @burjalarab expect higher on 14 of March.”
A similar clip by non-profit organization Freedom Conservation has alhe camera will be attached to an eagle named Darshan, a threatened specie that has been rehabilitated through global conservation programmes. Darshan has been introduced as an ambassador for endangered animals all over the world.
