Board of Control of Cricket in India selectors may have given Yuvraj Singh the cold shoulder for the Cricket World Cup but he remains red hot amongst the Indian Premier League franchises.
Yuvraj, a member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in previous season, once again emerged as the most expensive player, sold for a massive Rs160 million (Dh9.5m) to Delhi Daredevils after a bidding war between the two sides.
Last season Yuvraj was sold for Rs140 million.
Twenty20 specialist Dinesh Karthik, whose base price was Rs20 million, was bought by RCB for Rs105 million.
