Remove Holi Colours Safely

  • Everyone loves playing festival of colours. Holi without colours, water balloons, pichkari, etc. is no fun. You may buy natural and herbal colours, but other people around you may not be so conscious about the quality of colours they use. Synthetic colours can leave you with rashes, itching and dryness. So, besides taking precaution before holi it is very necessary to take special care after Holi too. If you pay attention to certain things, then it can be enjoyable and safe for you.

    For Hair

Rinse your hair to allow the additional colours to go off on their own before you use a shampoo. It is extremely vital to condition your hair to prevent any hair damage. Make a simple hair pack by soaking a few fenugreek (methi) seeds in four tablespoons of curd. Apply this pack or an egg yolk on your scalp and wash your hair with a good shampoo after 30 minutes.
