Dubai takes dining to new heights: Dh10,000 dinner on Burj Al Arab helipad

The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai’s Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM), and Burj Al Arab are announcing a partnership set to send the Emirate’s fine dining scene soaring in support of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). A grand finale to the inaugural Dubai Food Festival, the High Table dinner is a once-in-a-lifetime gourmet experience set 212 metres above the Arabian Gulf, atop the Burj Al Arab helipad.

With seating exclusively limited to 12 guests, the Dh10,000 per seat High Table promises to be the ultimate sensory experience with all proceeds going to the ‘Eat and Feed’ initiative in support of WFP.
Organised by Burj Al Arab and supported by the Dubai Food Festival, the High Table dinner is expected to raise funds that will provide food to more than 120,000 children for a day.
Laila Mohammed Suhail, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, commented: “As Dubai’s reputation as a gastronomic destination continues to grow, so too does its profile as a philanthropic hub.  In addition to raising funds in a unique way, the High Table dinner also raises awareness of the great work being undertaken by the United Nations World Food Programme. We are delighted to partner with both WFP and Burj Al Arab to raise funds and awareness of such an important cause.”
