Dubai Ruler Has Two Million Followers On Twitter

Vice President and Prime Minister of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is among the most sought-after figures on Twitter with two million followers.

The high following is due to the diverse content in the Dubai ruler's Twitter page and richness of themes and issues, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

Sheikh Mohammed has expressed his thanks and gratitude to his followers on Twitter.

His Twitter page, which has 90,000 followers every month, enjoys wide follow-up for his keenness to communicate on many occasions and eagerness to give his opinion on many regional and global issues.

Arabs account for the largest number of Sheikh Mohammed's followers with 43 per cent from the UAE followed by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt.
