The businessman dad of the boy who drove a Ferrari and was arrested by police
in Kerala, India, for the second time on Thursday, has been admitted to hospital
after a fight with local traffic police.
37 year old Mohammad Nisham, who also has business interests in Dubai, was
arrested and remanded to 14 days in police custody following a brawl with
traffic police in the south Indian town of Thrissur in Kerala.
City Police in Thrissur district have accused him of locking up a woman
police officer in his Rolls Royce.
“He is unwell and is undergoing medical treatment,” his wife told Emirates
24|7 over the phone. When asked why he has been hospitalised, she said she will
call back and dropped the phone.
According to Indian media reports, Nisham was driving his vehicle in Thrissur
on Thursday evening when traffic police stopped his vehicle, suspecting him to
be drunk.
He is then accused of behaving rudely with the police and even locking up a
woman police officer in his car, when she tried to take the keys of his car.
Police later took him into custody.
Nisham, who is into real estate and tobacco businesses, owns several luxury
cars and was earlier in the news when the video of his nine-year old son driving
a Ferrari went viral on YouTube.
Apart from the Ferrari and
the Rolls Royce, Nisham owns several other luxury cars including an Audi A7,
Range Rover Evoque, Bentley, Lamborghini and a Mercedes E Class.
The man is also a frequent visitor to the UAE, where he has many business
interests.
According to one of his acquaintances, some of the vehicles he owns were
shipped from Dubai.
He also has a penchant for the number “777”. All his cars have registration
numbers that end with ‘777’. His personal mobile number also ends with the same
three digits.
