iPhone5 outsells Samsung Galaxy S3 in online sales

iPhone 5 beats Samsung S3 in online sales according to online retailer Jado Pado. Both models are selling fast and leads the list of all smartphones on sale but the iPhone5 outsells its Samsung rival by a thin margin, says Omar Kassim, the owner of Jado Pado.

However other models too are catching up. “During the past few weeks we have been witnessing a demand for Nexus 4,” he adds.

 

Nexus 4, which received a recent update to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update and has become one of the hot selling models in recent weeks, especially as Samsung S4 is yet to hit the shelves here. Jado Pado is selling the 16GB Nexus 4 at Dh1,649 while the same is priced at Dh1,599 on Souq.com.

 

“Our advantage I the delivery time. Once you place the order you don’t need to wait for two or three days for the order to be delivered. We work from 9am to 9pm. Every order is delivered within the same day and on the very next morning if the order is placed in the evening,” says Kassim.

 

The company has set up its own logistics arrangement. “We have set up the warehouses in the UAE and on an average day we receive about 40 to 100 orders.“The numbers have been going up, mostly from UAE. However we are also seeing international demand growing. It has been a

month since we are started shipping Internationally, where we deliver through Fedex,”
