Over 2,450 UAE jobs open tomorrow

Over a dozen foreign and local companies will hire employees in Abu Dhabi offering a wide range of jobs in all major sectors from tomorrow.

Companies ranging from banking to oil & gas and universities to nuclear sectors will hire over 2,450 people in the three-day recruitment expo Tawdheef.

The expo will run from January 29 to January 31 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Most opportunities will be offered in the oil and gas sector by Al Mansoori Specialised Engineering, filling 1,000 positions in both skilled and unskilled segments, offering jobs to all nationalities.

According to Tawdheef website, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation will hire 500 employees of all nationalities.

Banking sector will also go on hiring spree with three international banks filling different types of positions.

Union National Bank (UNB) aims to hire over 200 staffers at the expo to fill positions of tellers, customer service representatives, financial analysts, HR officer and other positions. Standard Chartered will fill 30 vacancies of all nationalities.

HSBC is also expected to announce vacancies during the three-day recruitment show.

National Health Insurance (Daman) is also expected to recruit 50 staffers in sales, customer services, legal and other sections.

Thousands of jobs are expected to open up in the country in the coming years. As per the figures released by Tawdheef last year, Abu Dhabi alone is expected to create more than 600,000 new jobs over the next decade, giving umpteen choices to candidates.
