iPhone5 handsets coated in gold will go on sale in Dubai Mall on Thursday, local paper 7Days has reported.
The 24-carat luxury iPhone 5s coated in yellow and rose gold were released by the London-based Gold & Co on Monday, just 72 hours after the new phone hit the shelves.
The yellow gold and black model will cost AED 17,000, ($4,628) while the rose gold and white model cost AED 18,500, ($5,036), the report said.
Each custom-made phone is individually numbered and comes in a hand-crafted wooden box with a certificate of authenticity.
The phones will be on display at the Collector’s Palace in Dubai Mall at 7.30 pm.
After the launch, the phones will go on sale at Gold & Co’s authorised dealers, such as Damas in the Middle East, Evolve Lifestyle Group in India and the G&C London office in Hong Kong.
