Citizens without criminal records can avail certificates of good conduct
needed for buying and licensing guns and other hunting weapons at the Abu Dhabi
International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex), said Abu Dhabi
Police.
The AD Police has opened a counter at the Adihex for the certificate issuance, which will not take more than 15 minutes, according to Captain Sultan Al Tunaiji, Director of Fingerprint section at the Criminal Evidence Administration.
The counter has been networked with the Criminal Records System at the Interior Ministry and the handprint section at the Emirates Identity Authority.
Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region (Al Gharbia) of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the President of the Emirates Falconers' Club, the 10th edition of Adihex will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Organized by the Emirates Falconers' Club, the Exhibition will run from September 5 to September 8.
