UAE maids spike boss'

Two UAE maids have appeared in court accused of putting urine, fingernails and eyelashes in their bosses’ food, daily newspaper 7Days reported on Tuesday.

The Emirati family discovered the strange act when the two maids started arguing. It has not been revealed why they carried out the act, but one of the two apparently blamed the other for coming up with the idea during the quarrel, the report added.

When she heard of what they had done, their Emirati boss and her daughter, who live in the Emirate of Fujeirah, then examined the food and discovered eyelashes and fingernails.

She reported it to the police, who arrested the two maids who are accused of putting the health of their boss and her daughter at risk.

The case has now been referred to the Fujairah Criminal Court,
