A photo application - Instagram - has caught web users in a frenzy. More than
80 million people are already using the app and sharing their raunchy
pictures.
The users have easy access to sexually-suggestive photos and the team
moderating the site are unable to police the five million pictures uploaded
every day, reports Daily
Mail.
Search terms such as 'instaporn', 'handbra' or 'sextragram' bring up tens of
thousands of sexual images, the report adds. There are also thousands of
comments from users of these pornographic images.
Members are increasingly luring strangers for sex and exchanging
pictures.
Kim Kardashian has also posted a picture of herself as "a thank you to her
fans after registering 2 million Instagram followers".
Now parents with young kids are a worried lot.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Instagram was quoted by Huffington Post as
saying they rely on users to flag inappropriate content and that they do their
best to remove any media that they determine as inappropriate.
