ID delay fees to start from today in capital

Delay fees for anyone in Abu Dhabi who has not yet renewed or registered for their ID card come into force today [Sunday].

Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) announced on Thursday that Saturday would be the last opportunity for residents to register.

The Authority has reminded any resident who has not yet registered or renewed to do so as quickly as possible.

They also reminded applicants that using the e-form, either at a typing centre or through the website, would help to avoid further delay fees.
