Stay-at-home forecast for Dubai

The weather forecast till Sunday (tomorrow) morning continues to remain bleak – with the sandstorm that obliterated the weekend for many continuing to blow over Dubai and the rest of the UAE.

According to the National Centre of Meterology and Seismoloy (NCMS), fresh southerly winds will continue affecting most areas, especially internal areas, causing blowing dust/sand, and reducing the horizontal visibility.

The NCMS’ 24-hour forecast from 9am Saturday till 9am Sunday, also put out a warning of rough seas, with waves between four and six feet high.

The northern and eastern areas of the UAE were given a chance of rain with weather, in general, forecast to be hazy and partly cloudy in general.

The National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) advises motorists to take precaution on roads as a reduced horizontal visibility is expected. Also those suffering from asthma are urged not to venture out.
