Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy on friday inaugurated the webcasting of CM's office funtioning and CM's website which is initiated to bring transparency in administration. This unique project would be the first in the country. Now online users can watch Kerala CM's Office live by visting the website www.keralacmlive.gov.in. The website launched on July 1st(Friday) had got more than 1 lakh visitors in a single day. This unique project was included as one of the items which was included in Chief Minister's 100-day action plan.
An initiate taken by website designers CDIT, the site was completed in 18 days. This unique website gives facilities for online web streaming of the CM's Office,facility for citizens to lodge petitions, track petitions etc. A special attraction of the site is that citizen journalists can post online petition via procedure given in the site itself.
