“40 Life” The United Arab Emirates

The “40 Life” is a famous English word-puzzle that translates to “Life starts after the age of 40”. The statement is optimistic, determined and makes perfect sense when it comes to humans - due to their life span as forty is the age of maturity, professional peak and family stability – especially with the recent human health status improvements.

In the lives of countries and cities, ‘40’ is a very young age; hardly enough to build and establish – not to mention garnering success. A close look at any major city in the world proves the theory of prolonged development eras needed for cities to nurture and blossom - except for the UAE and Dubai in particular!

Dubai has definitely been here more than 40 years, but since the smart and courageous UAE union creation 40 years ago; the country and its emirates took an accelerated path to life - in the most spectacular ways.

This young and beautiful city of Dubai is the ultimate best place to live in throughout the whole Middle East - and beyond as far as I am concerned! A city where heterogeneous yet much harmonized streams of people live in a peaceful synchronization; beside its ambitious Emirati citizens, expatriates from more than 200 different nationalities learn, work and fall in love with Dubai’s unflinching sun and its unique lifestyle.

Nothing in the world is like Dubai… absolutely anything! “She” is prettier than all cities, garnished with its sky-rocketing buildings - with Burj Khalifa as its crown jewel, decorated with the peaceful emerald beaches, enjoying the amazingly diversified mixture of faces, cultures, languages and cuisines… Dubai shapes the best example of a cosmopolitan city with a unique welcoming and scent full Emirati Arabic essence.

Attainments happen here every day; everybody is on the trot at a fast pace to build a career and enjoy their lives, their families and this stunning city. Being so lucky to be supported with the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the emirate races time to reach proceeded triumphs… Dubai is very much like its famous skyscraper (Burj Khalifa); heads towards the heights, except that the city surpasses the tower and keeps raising the bar… each and every day.

At the UAE National Day’s 40th anniversary: Dear Dubai, we wish you a perpetual life, where you continue succeeding after 40, become even prettier and more spirited. You are a great motivator for many of us who can see how seriousness and dedication become a pronounced accomplishment on the ground… literally!
