7he Sevens-cricket facility in Dubai

Dubai's much-awaited cricket facility at 7he Sevens was unveiled on Monday in the presence of King's XI Punjab stars Brett Lee, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Abdullah and Gary Chapman, President Emirates Group Services and Dnata. The facilities, which have been created by Emirates airline, are expected to be the hub of cricket lovers in Dubai.

7he Sevens cricket facility will have two turf grounds and four all-weather sabka surface.
The two turf grounds will be made up of four wickets each.
The main turf wicket will have floodlit facility for night cricket. Infrastructure for lighting has been made at the second turf wicket too and lights will be fixed subject to demand.
The lighting at the turf ground will be of 1500 lux and it will be strong enough for high quality television coverage.
The ground will have a shaded viewing area overlooking both grass pitches. Spectators will have the option of sitting on grass mounds to watch the action.
The pavilion will have a snack bar, while a full menu will be served at the Players' Club.
There will be 12 dressing rooms available for use by cricketers during the season.
