This Web 2.0 phenomenon, created by three former PayPal employees in 2005, has redefined how people consume media and has created its own culture. The YouTube family has hundreds of thousands of dedicated users who constantly share content. In 2006, the site sold to Google for a record $1.65 billion dollars, certifying it as one of the hottest internet products today.
