world's first-ever website
Info.cern.ch was the address of the world's first-ever website and belonged to CERN (the European Organisation for Nuclear Research). The first web page address was info.cern.ch/hypertext/ WWW/TheProject.html and featured information regarding the project related to forming the World Wide Web.
