Free bus to cross the road in Dubai.

A free shuttle bus is to be provided on both sides of Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road between the Defence and World Trade Centre roundabouts.

Pedestrians will be able to use the service to safely cross from one side of the busy highway to the other.


And traffic chiefs hope the initiative will reduce the number of people hit by vehicles. Last year 14 pedestrians were killed on the stretch of road.
