A night scene on Dubai's Al Rigga Street during
DSF.
It’s a win-win situation for shopaholics during the current Dubai Shopping
Festival. Apart from the impressive line-up of discounts and lavish prizes,
Dubai streets have also been decked out to entertain and enthrall in a cultural
extravaganza.
Six main areas in the emirate will be dressed up for the Dubai Shopping Festival this year.
Apart from kick-starting the DSF celebrations this year, the Creek Park will remain the main attraction, and will be transformed into the Kids Festival Park during the month-long fest.
The Festival Promenade will host the Bedouin Lifestyle Camp that will throw light on the Arab desert lifestyle and allow guests to learn and understand a new culture. It will also house the ‘Fun Fair’ carnival that will have merry-go-rounds, bucking horses, Ferris wheels, Dodgem cars and other such rides and activities, alongside kiosks selling snacks.
A circus tent will also be pitched there, with two daily shows in the evening.
Al Seef Street will come alive between 5pm and 10pm with the DSF carnival that will parade many jugglers, stilt walkers, unicyclists and musicians. A corner of the street will also put out a display of knick-knacks from across the globe at the ‘World of Souvenirs’ and guests can also embark on a culinary journey with the ‘Tea Oasis’.
