Winked at a girl? Pay Rs 3,000!
A court in Kerala recently fined a youth on the grounds of eve teasing for winking at a girl. Fair punishment? Celebs react...
Can a wink drag you into court proceedings for over two years and end up with being slapped a fine? Yes, if the story of V K Ilyas, a youth in Malom in Kasargod district, Kerala, is anything to go by.
The Hosdurg judicial first class court slapped a fine of Rs 3,000 on him on the grounds of eve teasing and the long arm of the law punished him with a fine for the incident that occurred on November 15, 2010, when the girl was waiting for a bus in front of the Kasaba Higher Secondary School. Now how fair or unfair is that? We asked a few M-Town celebs their take on the issue.
