“The market is booming not only in the region but also across the world.
Everybody wants to own a smartphone. Many users are jumping to dump their
feature phone and move to smartphone. We are here to capture the market by
offering the right product,” Hayssam Yassine, head of telecommunications group
at Samsung Gulf Electronics, told Gulf News.
He said that according to research firm GfK, Samsung had a market share of 45
per cent in the UAE. With the S4 we are confident of protecting our market share
and make room for growth.
The 5-inch full HD super Amoled device houses 13MP rear-facing camera and 2MP
